A photograh

This picture is of my godson…he is so cute don’t you think so? Yes!!!!!! I love him so much, he is a little pain in my neck, because he is so naughty, but I love him anyway. He Is the son of my dear sister and my brother in law.

Well… I took this picture was taken with my cell phone camera on the day after he was born; : July 27 , 2008 aprox. Honestly I almost cried of happiness. I wanted to stay with him and my sister all day long , but unfortunately, I had classes so I couldn’t stay much longer to continue looking at him.

Today he is a healthy boy of 4 years old, he likes to play soccer and watch the “toy story “movie (once he makes me see it around 5 times, I almost go mad!!!!). Every time I see him he hugs me so hard. We have a special friendship… I can’t believe how much he has grown!!!

 

My favorite movie

 

Hi everyone, for this post I’m going to talk about my favorite movie; it’s called “pay it forward” (cadena de favores). This movie is about a boy who wants to change the world by using this method called “pay it forward”. This consists of  doing a favor to any person, but that person has to pay this favor by  doing the same for other three people. The best part was that this idea came from some  homework that his history teacher sends to all class. At that age  I  didn’t  do  my homework, but that boy changed the world with his.

This movie makes me cry when i see it, because the boy dies at the end .. His mother cannot handle the pain for the loss of his little boy (I can’t imagine that woman ‘s   pain(). But the amazing part was that all the people that came to see the mother of the child once they learnt  about the little boy’s death, with candles may I say. The actors  were : Helen Hunt (as the mom), Kevin Spacey (as the teacher) and Haley Joel Osment (as the little boy).

I like this movie because I can’t believe that a boy of that age (8 years old) wants to change  all  the world  by using a method that includes all  the people around him, it involves a great faith in  humanity, which is something that most people have  lost and need desperately. I sincerely believe that generosity is dead….. but  it is my opinion.

My favorite piece of technology

My favorite piece of technology? UMMMMMM......let ‘s see, let ‘s see

Obviously my MP3 player. I cannot live without it. I listen to  the music that I like in the subway, on  the bus, in my house, when I’m travelling . It  Is the most spectacular feeling when I listen to  the music and the wind blows over my face, I feel so peaceful.

Also it  is very practical, it  is the size of a cell phone; this way I can take it with me  anywhere. And I don’t tell you the best part: that I can put  all the music that I want inside, from the 80`s, the 90`s and modern music as well!!!. Also I can I listen  to music from the radio.

This device was a gift from my mother; that´s why I take it  close to me all the time. If I lose it….. Oh my, I don’t know what I could do if that happens.

I cannot imagine how the time before the MP3 player could have been like . I remember my mom using cassette player what is that? - Hehehehe)

But this device is dangerous  to our health: it reduces our hearing capacity which is so important to our lives. We can become deaf at  an early age.
