Free topic: "inside a tornado"

For this post I’m going to talk about a YouTube video called “video inside a tornado”.  It remind me a movie that I like called “twister”, I  specially enjoy the scene  where the actors are escaping from a tornado… they run and run but it seems that there is no way to avoid it.

I choose this video because I am attracted to any natural phenomenon that affects our planet. In this case, is so incredible to see the force of wind, which destroys everything in its path.  This was a small tornado, so it didn’t cause much damage.  If you can see, the people hide inside the car while the tornado passes through them.  Powder curtains rises around them but was not strong enough to lift the car; you can even see as lightning fall. Is AWESOME!!!!!!

The people who make the video are totally crazy, they risk their lives for his job (they are storm hunters) and I’m honestly think that is not worth it.   However, the images from the inside of that monstrosity are incredible!!!!! I wish I see a tornado but from far away is possible.

Learning English

For this post I’m glad to say that I enjoy learning English at the university!!!!!

Well my experience in English is very limited. I learnt some of it in primary school and middle school, but frankly I learnt more from the TV and listening music from USA (and I´m still doing it). However, is more useful learn from a more experience person, which can correct my spelling, vocabulary and pronunciation. I enjoy expressing my opinion in a different language even when I’m not doing it correctly.

We are a few students in each class but I think that allow me to express my ideas without fear, is a pleasant atmosphere than there is in the class room.

A weak point could be that is better learning English in a room with a heater (hehehehe!!!!)… I’m kidding, but honestly, with 4 hours (of 45 mins each) anyone get tired so is better to split it into two. This way, we can have two classes per week. But, in general, I like the classes. Sometimes, when I’m leaving the faculty, any thought that is crosses my mind is in English and is so difficult to change into Spanish….. Where is the button that changes it???? 

A free topic: "Can it really rain frogs?"

HEHEHEHE…..this post is for you “unbelievers”. So you think that the end is here, well is TRUE!!!! And how can we know??? Because is RAINING FROGS!!!!!!  HEHEHE I’m just kidding.

 Maybe you cannot imagine, frankly I can’t. It seems to only happen in the movies, so how can we believe it? Well, there is a perfect explanation for this phenomenon. Frogs are creatures that can weight as little as a few ounces. When a tornado forms over a body of water (called waterspout, in this case) the low-pressure tunnel and the high-pressure cone create a pressure differences that pick up the relatively low weight items in its path. Example of this are: cows, trailer homes, cars and FROGS; this are sucked up into the vacuum of the vortex.  But this only happen over body water; that’s why only water and sea creatures end up caught in its swirling winds.

Honestly I think this is very funny. Imagine that frogs fall from the sky on the head of any person … and the reaction of that person….hehehehe. Besides, is the first time I hear about FLYING FROGS. Imagine how saved in air travel, with the actual price of a ticket in economic class…is practically a gift.  But been more objective… how can resist the impact with the ground and how much time are in the air?

I recommend sincerely that read more about this. Things that you think that only happens in dreams actually happen in the reality. All of this, with the help of Mother Nature. I love science.

Changing education paradigms

I´m totally agree with Ken Robinson. Actually the current education can´t allowed some people; this is because the access to a great school is rule by the amount of money and the cultural differences that you have. This is very sad, because if a children wants to receive education and is not allowed to have it then the child feels that is not competent, that is not good enough to become in the person that he or she wants to be.

People with no access to education are being alienated and the state is not doing enough to reduce this situation.

We are living in a time where student´s (Childs and young mens) heads are being filled with much more information that we can handled. That’s because world is changing and the knowledge of things is increasing exponentially. Also, although the current topics is almost the same, for most people this can be hard to learn, which can provoke in most of the kids the ADHD Attention Deficit hyperactivity disorder. This is not a disease, I think that all children are capable to do something but a few of them are capable to do “what we tell them to do”. We have to explore the situation of every person. Not everybody born to study, but others burn with the ability to do something beyond of current education can teach.    Most of the time I see myself stressed by the idea of what to expect about the future, a future where obtain a degree is not enough to get a job. What is going to happen tomorrow?morrow?
